Dragonfly Energy Holdings Corp. (Nasdaq: DFLI) has completed the acquisition of substantially all operating assets associated with the Dakota Lithium brand, adding a second battery brand to its portfolio alongside the existing Battle Born Batteries lineup. The move extends Dragonfly Energy's reach into marine, outdoor recreation, powersports, golf cart, and other specialty battery markets.

Dakota Lithium will continue operating as a distinct brand with its own product focus, market position, and customer community — not folded into Battle Born. The acquisition brings deep-cycle and dual-purpose batteries, smaller-format starting and powersports models, higher-energy-density designs across multiple form factors, chargers, and portable power stations into Dragonfly Energy's expanded product offering.

Wade Seaburg, Chief Commercial Officer of Dragonfly Energy, said the company sees an opportunity to build on Dakota Lithium's established position by supporting product availability, expanding distribution, and bringing Dragonfly's commercial and operational capabilities to the brand while strengthening support for customers and channel partners.

Dragonfly Energy says it is working to replenish Dakota Lithium inventory and expects product availability to expand over the coming months. The company plans to work closely with existing distributors, dealers, and customers throughout the transition, with additional details on customer support and commercial programs to follow as plans are finalized.
