Eco Battery has launched Factory Lithium Conversion Bundles targeting E-Z-GO TXT and RXV Gen1 and Gen2 golf carts. The bundles are designed to replace aging OEM Samsung lithium battery systems with Eco Battery's Gen3 lithium technology, built around a new Gen3 BMS loaded with E-Z-GO-specific firmware developed by the company's in-house engineering team. A new E-Z-GO Factory Lithium Conversion Adapter pairs with that BMS to enable plug-and-play communication between the cart and battery while keeping factory electronics, safety systems, and controls fully intact.
The launch also introduces EB FLiβ’ (Factory Lithium Integration), Eco Battery's next-generation integration platform aimed at delivering seamless performance and true plug-and-play simplicity for advanced golf carts. As the factory-direct partner for nine OEM brands, Eco Battery says EB FLi is optimized for both new-cart production and aftermarket upgrades. Key capabilities include retention of OEM safety systems, compatibility with existing vehicle electronics and controls, and simplified installation β all without the extensive wiring modifications typical of traditional aftermarket conversions.
"EB FLi isn't just a feature β it's Eco Battery's core philosophy," said Skylar Schone, CEO of Eco Battery. "By focusing on true system-level integration rather than patchwork solutions, Eco Battery provides a future-ready platform for advanced golf carts and battery-powered systems, while preserving the features and functionality owners rely on most." Every battery in the lineup is backed by Eco Battery's Limited Lifetime Warranty.
The company says it plans to expand the EB FLi platform later this summer with a comparable factory lithium upgrade solution for Club Car vehicles. Factory lithium conversion bundles for other brands β including Evolution and Denago β are already available for purchase. Golf Carting Magazine first reported the announcement.
