Lightspeed DMS, a dealer management system serving more than 4,500 dealers across the outdoor recreation industry, has launched three new Yamaha Golf Car integrations: Serial Number Decoding, Parts Price File, and Warehouse Availability. The South Jordan, Utah-based company says the additions give Yamaha Golf Car dealers the same OEM-connected tools that powersports dealers have relied on for years.
The Serial Number Decoding feature lets dealers enter a Yamaha Golf Car serial number when adding a unit to inventory or a repair order, and Lightspeed automatically pulls the Manufacturer, Year, Make, Model Name, Model, and MSRP directly from Yamaha via a secure API in real time — no manual data entry required. The Parts Price File integration brings Yamaha's full parts and accessories catalog inside the DMS, so staff can look up items and confirm current pricing without leaving the platform.
Rounding out the trio, the Warehouse Availability feature lets dealers check whether Yamaha has a specific part in stock with a single click inside Lightspeed — eliminating separate logins or phone calls before committing to a repair timeline or customer promise date. Together, the three integrations are designed to tighten the workflow from the service drive to the parts counter.
Jeremy Johnson, Associate Director of OEM Business Development at Lightspeed DMS, said the launch reflects the company's push to close the gap between golf car dealers and the deep OEM integrations powersports dealers already use daily. Lightspeed currently maintains more than 450 integrations across powersports, RV, marine, trailer, golf, and outdoor power equipment segments. Yamaha Golf Car dealers on Lightspeed can access all three integrations immediately.
