Nivel, the golf car industry's largest aftermarket supplier, announced on May 1 the acquisition of Xtreme Golf Cart Mats, a brand known for producing custom-fit, precision-engineered floor mats built specifically for golf cars and personal transportation vehicles. The deal expands Nivel's already broad portfolio of parts, accessories, and Bolt batteries, reinforcing the Jacksonville-based company's position as a single-source supplier for dealers and builders across North America.

Xtreme Golf Cart Mats earned its reputation by doing one thing well — designing durable, exact-fit floor mats that shield golf car interiors from dirt, water, sand, debris, and daily wear while sharpening the vehicle's appearance. All products are designed and engineered in the United States. Nivel says customers can expect the same quality and manufacturing standards that established the brand, along with planned investment in expanded fitments for new golf car and personal transportation vehicle models.

Nivel CEO Donnie Jouppi cited the brand's product discipline and speed to market as key attractions. "We were attracted to Xtreme Golf Cart Mats for their unwavering dedication to excellence, their 'gold standard' approach to product design, and speed to market for new fitments," Jouppi said. "Adding their American-engineered golf floor mats to our catalog allows us to offer our customers a level of interior protection and aesthetic appeal that is simply unmatched in the industry."

For Xtreme Golf Cart Mats founder Brandon Burkey, the acquisition opens a significantly larger distribution runway without compromising what built the brand. "Nivel has the network and resources to put that product in front of every golf car owner in the country and that's exactly what I wanted for this brand," Burkey said. Through Nivel's distribution network, dealers can now source the mats alongside their regular parts and accessory orders through a single supplier relationship.

The move is part of a broader consolidation trend in the golf car space, as rising consumer demand for customization, comfort, and vehicle protection continues to attract investment in specialized aftermarket products. This story was originally reported by Golf Car News.
