WiTricity AI Tech, LLC will sponsor the VIP Area at the 2026 GolfCarting Expo & Dealer Summit and exhibit at Booth 810 when the show runs October 1–3 in Charleston, South Carolina. The company bills itself as a pioneer in wireless power transfer technology, and the sponsorship puts it front and center for the dealers, manufacturers, and suppliers who gather at one of the golf cart industry's key annual events.
The centerpiece of the booth will be the WiTricity MR/1 Wireless Golf Cart Charging System, available in two configurations. The 600 W MR/1 targets personal and residential use — private carts, golf cart communities, and vacation properties — while the 900 W version is built for higher-demand commercial settings such as golf courses, universities, resorts, amusement parks, and cart fleets. Both models work indoors or outdoors and support lithium-ion and lead-acid battery chemistries.
The system replaces cable connections with a ground-mounted Power Hub that transfers energy wirelessly to a Receiver mounted under the cart. Charging starts automatically when an equipped cart parks over the Hub and stops when the battery is full or the cart is driven away. The cart's conventional plug-in charging port is preserved for locations where a Power Hub isn't available, and multiple MR/1-equipped carts can share a single Hub.
CEO Joe Benz says the hands-free design also enables opportunity charging — every time a cart returns to a barn or any MR/1-equipped parking spot, it can automatically top off, helping operators keep carts available longer and extend battery life. Expo visitors can discuss installation, vehicle compatibility, and fleet or dealer integration options with WiTricity representatives at Booth 810.
