WiTricity AI Tech, LLC is stepping up as the official VIP Area sponsor at the 2026 GolfCarting Expo & Dealer Summit, set for October 1–3 in Charleston, South Carolina. The Stuart, Florida-based company will also exhibit at Booth 810, giving dealers and industry professionals a hands-on look at technology that turns parking a cart into a charging event — no cables required.
At the booth, WiTricity representatives will showcase two versions of the MR/1 Wireless Golf Cart Charging System: a 600 W model aimed at personal and residential use — think private carts, golf cart communities, and vacation properties — and a 900 W unit built for golf courses, commercial fleets, universities, resorts, and amusement parks where carts need to stay consistently ready for service. Both systems work indoors and outdoors and are compatible with lithium-ion and lead-acid battery technologies.
The MR/1 works by mounting a Receiver beneath the cart and installing a Power Hub on the ground. When a cart pulls over the hub, charging starts automatically and cuts off once the battery is full or the cart drives away. CEO Joe Benz highlighted the fleet uptime advantage: each time an equipped cart returns to the barn or any MR/1-equipped spot, it can top off automatically — reducing downtime and extending battery life without any staff intervention. Carts also retain their standard plug-in charging capability for locations without a Power Hub, and multiple MR/1-equipped carts can share a single Power Hub.
Visitors to Booth 810 can discuss installation, vehicle compatibility, and dealer or fleet integration opportunities directly with WiTricity staff. The GolfCarting Expo & Dealer Summit draws golf cart dealers, manufacturers, suppliers, and industry professionals for three days of exhibits, education, training, and networking.
